Can I sell excess solar energy back to the grid?
As a net metering customer of Fortis, you’ll use a meter that has two displays: one to show the kilowatt hours (kWh) delivered to your home or business and one to show the kilowatt hours of generated electricity we received from you. If you generate more electricity than you can use in one billing period, the excess is banked and can be used in a future billing period.
